Project overview
Trica Equity, an ESOP management platform empowers its users to exercise options through simple yet effective user experience process. Valuable metrics from grant overview to grant details are represented in the dashboard.
Existing Problem
The basic problem was the users were not able to work around the platform with ease. Grants and grant details were previously shown in a numerical manner, which was complex to understand for the users considering ESOP metrics are best shown in visual representation. The user experience in exercising options was poorly done. The exercise status was not able to capture the attention of the users, as it is the priority for the users.
Our Solution
We revamped the entire platform starting with visual representation of dashboard and individual grant details. Made the Exercise Options UX straight forward. Exercise module was mainly categorised into 4 parts namely Exercise Units, Payment Process, Sign Exercise Documents (3rd Party Integration) and at last DEMAT information. The entire exercise module was also split into several use cases, one with DEMAT information present, onw where there are multiple grants to exercise, one with DEMAT being optional.
User Story Map
User maps helps visualize the activities, details and steps users go through in a product / feature. Instead of hefty requirement documents, story maps communicates how the pieces fit together before the design and development process.
Wireframes
Several iterations were created and ideas were thrown around in achieving the user experience part for the exercise module. From dashboard to the admin tables, pixel perfect wireframes were created.
Color Pallete
Night Blue, Forest green are the primary colors chosen as the former is chosen to build the trust factor and the latter is chosen as it exudes positiveness . Dark Knight black and Autumn grey are our secondary colors.
Typography
Work Sans is a free google font, which is optimized for web and mobile interfaces with excellent legibility characteristics in its letterforms which gives a neutral yet friendly appearances.
Components
Here we present you the list of components which we made for trica equity. Live grant, List of grant awarded, vesting table, grant values gwoth,exercise options, tax calculator, new grant awarded, forecast company valuation and contact hr and trica are some of the primary components which we created.
Intutive UI
Dashboard was one of the two priorities along with the user experience part in the exercise options module in achieving the solution. The platform was designed with 12 column grid system.
Exercise Module
Exercise module is where when a grant is awarded to an employee, they can select how many options they want to exercise by paying the required amount, signing important documents and submitting the DEMAT information. After admin verification employee will have a successful exercise action.

Responsive versions were designed for the platform. 4 point grid system was followed in the UI. From dashboard to successful exercise action, pixel perfect responsive user interface was achieved.
