Clear Mind uses positive psychology, mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy to make you thrive in life and to give you the personal tools and mindset to overcome negative thoughts and build a habit of positivity through a journal into your life.
Existing Problem
How might we build an app that helps users achieve a state of balance in life and help them uplift their mood by monitoring and managing their holistic wellness over time?
Our Solution
The problems identified and their solutions, who is using it, when they are using it, why and where they are using it, color themes, typefaces and sizes, placement of buttons, need to be backed by data! By using data every step of the way to validate solutions and designs, risk for the business is reduced and solutions for the users are meaningful and effective.
Structuring the information
Based on the insights gathered duruing our research, user stories were formed and prioritized. After that, a user journey flow was prepared to guide us further in the design. selected flow underwent usability testing with a group of respondents representing our target audience.
Wireframes
We started with wireframes to cover key journeys, this helped us in defining the basic information architecture and validating it with the internal team including the client to gain input prior to initiating the UI phase.
Color Case
The lavender color is enthralling and beautiful, reminding us of the flower and stunning lavender fields. The color is also regarded as a healing color that provides calm and relaxation. The color also symbolizes purity and cleanliness.
Type Case
Raleway is an elegant sans-serif typeface family. It has a bit more personality than a classic sans-serif typeface with its geometric styled lettering. It looks unique and modern web safe font for their brand.
Intutive UI
Overview screen was one of the two priorities along with the user experience part in the exercise options module in achieving the solution. The platform was designed with 8 point grid system.
Mobile UI
Responsive versions were desgined for the platfrom. 8 point grid system was followed in the UI. From dashboard to successfull exercise action, pixel perfect responsive user interface was achieved.
