Project overview
Neural Hive digitally empowers dentist with equipment solutions that include intra-oral scanners and cone beam computed tomography units. These will assist the dentists to 3-dimensionally digitise intra-oral scans and radiographic images that will facilitate break-through full digital treatment planning and delivery workflow powered by Neural Hive AI based software solutions.
The Challenge
As a dental workflow powered by AI, dentists should be able to use the platform without any hassle. A good UX should be instated. The UI should be easily blend with the 3d management software that is going to be integrated in the platform.
Our Solution
The visual design is created from a perspective to build trust among dentists. The onboarding is very simple which conveys the simple user experience. We carefully designed the five important categories from Uploading of scans to print the tooth. The screens are designed to convey the benefits and allow the platform to be flexible for integration of the 3d management software.
User Flow
Any good design starts with research, so does ours. To dive into the work and decide on the set of features, we started building the basic user flow for the application. We analyzed the the competitors in the market and got to know the features which we can design better.
Wireframes
After completing our UX research, we began creating the wireframes, ensuring they were user-friendly, simple, and easy to comprehend throughout the platform.
Visual Identity
Sky Blue is the primary color chosen as the former is chosen to build the trust factor and it exudes corporate feel. Dark Grey and Fall Grey are our text colors while Pearl White and Salt White are our background colors.
Typography
Myriad Pro is a free font, which has well spaced characters and excellent legibility. There are 4 main font weights available. Neutral fontype was preferred.
UI Elements
Here we present you the list of components which we made for trica equity. Input Boxes, Main category, Primary and Secondary CTA’s, Upload scan, Tooth Set, Maxiallary and Mandibular views and the five available camer angles are some of the primary components which we created.
Dual Mode Available
The platform was designed for both light and dark mode. During our competitive analysis, we deduced an important feature “Light Modes”, that should be provided to the users.
Mark Missing Tooth Module
Mark missing tooth, in this module users will be able to mark the missing tooth by looking at the 3d integration area where the 3d generated model of the patients tooth set will be shown. This step comes as a sub category for the Segmentation module. A detailed side by side view is provisioned for the users.
Other Screens
Here is the list of other screens that are part of the user platfrom. 30+ screens and various components were created for the entire platform. As it is a 3d tool, responsive/mobile version was not designed.
